Very rare Kazuo Motozawa Saturno table lamp

Ref: 000292

Kazuo Motozawa is one of the best examples of progressive Japanese design from the 1970's. This model is called Saturno and also existed as a ceiling light. The table light Saturno is extremely rare to find and an absolute gem. Pictures don't do it justice but we can see the magnificent atmosphere it creates when lit and the beauty of its sleek and perfect design when unlit.

Made by Yamagiva, Tokyo. Ref. 1000 lights book page 495 'sculptural poetry with its ribbed shade, which reflects and scatters the light'. In 1972 The Saturno won an IF award.

Dim.: H26xW34 cm White-plated sheet steel.

Magnificent and a good investment piece too.
